Duration of the economic use of different exterior-constitutional types cows

Grounded principles of conduct of plant-breeding-pedigree work with the herds of milk breeds of the Ukrainian selection, directed on their consolidation after the signs of type of build and duration of the productive use. These connections of exterior-constitutional signs of cows are resulted with the indexes of efficiency of the economic use (r=0,102-0,720). Duration of the economic use sufficiently strongly correlates with living mass not depending on the term of leaving of cattle (r=0,300-0,540). Principal reasons of deleting from a herd to a great extent are result of incongruous technological requirements to exploitation of highly productive cattle. Selection of animal on the constitution of strong type and exterior measuring of pectoral department, heights, in withers will be instrumental in lengthening of duration of the economic use of cattle in a herd.
