The data about the influence of the antistress fodder additive on antioxidant defense system and peroxide lipid oxidation of piglets after weaning from their sows are presented in this article. It was established that at addition of antistress additive to the died activities of superoxidedismutase and catalase in erythrocytes increased on 1-14th days after weaning and also TBA-reactive substances and lipid hydroperoxide in blood plasma of piglets decreased. These data testify about a higher level of antioxidant protection and the better adaptable ability of animals which received in addition antistress fodder additive to a standard diet. It is offered that using of antistress fodder additive to the diet of piglets during the critical period of weaning from sows to provide their organism with necessary elements and to decrease stress factors.
