Ultra structure of the mucous membranes and thin gut secretion formation process in young chicken of 10- 60- and 120-day age was investigated. It was established, that the amount of like lowl cells in the mucous epithelium of thin intestines in hens of 120 day age is significantly higher than in mucous membrane of chicken at the age of 10 days. Number of mitochondria in enterocytes of chicken at the age of 60 days is average 30-40, which sizes is 0,2-1,0 mcm in width and to 7,0 mcm inlenght. At the age of 120 days, the number of secretory epithelial cells of thin intestine mucous membrane is considerably higher than in chicken of 10 day age. It was also established that in mucous membrane of young poultry thin intestine of different age in one micron of apical surface of cylindrical cells located from 100 to 150 of microfibres, height 1,5-2,0 mcm, in diametr - 0,08-0,15 mcm.
