State of local immunity and its correction

An analytical literature review dealing with the problems of local immunity to causative agents of infections, and their correction possibilities are given in this article. The review includes the data of experimental research of age characteristics of forming local immunity and system of immune defense at development of infectious diseases. Regulatory mechanisms of response to antigen stimulation, the multivalent role of secretary immunoglobulins - SIgA and cytokines and T-cells of different subpopulations (SD4+, SD8+) resistant to infections are discussed. Obtained results could be used for the development of new drugs to increase animals' immunity at gastrointestinal pathology.
