The article presents the results of bacteriological studies of pathological material of poultry of oviparous and meat crosses during 2006-2009. Pathogenic cultures E. coli appeared to be the most dominant organism. While doing antibiotic-grams it was found out that the lowest percentage of resistant cultures was established to fluorfenicol (trade name floron), apramycin, norfloxacin (trade name quinAbik) and spektinomycin, and the highest ? to tetracycline, polymixine, doxycyline, neomycin, amoxicillin. The analysis of 139 antimicrobial preparations, registered in Ukraine, of domestic and foreign production was conducted, including 29 combined used in the sphere of poultry farming. The necessity of constant monitoring of the mentioned cultures of microorganisms to antimicrobial preparations will favour achievement of maximum therapeutic effect and reduction of outlays on antibacterial treatment of poultry.
