Spread of pathologies of prostate in male dogs

It is set that pathologies of prostate arise up in 17,4 % male dogs of the common amount of the explored males. The most widespread pathologies - prostatic hyperplasia which was registered in 45,5 %, cysts of prostate - 21,1 %, prostatic inflammation - 16,5 %. In addition, in 5,5 % cases prostatic neoplasia was determined, in 1,5 % it is an abscesses of prostate and paraprostatic cyst. The noted pathologies developed more frequently in males more than 6 years age. Intact male dogs are more inclined to development of pathologies of prostate. More frequently than all illnesses of prostate gland were diagnosed in such breeds: German sheep dog, Doberman, boxer, Rottweiler.
