Changes of some carbonic metabolism indices in blood of healthy and sick with ketosis cows

Analysis of glucose, pyruvic acid, insulin and cortisol levels in blood of healthy high-yielder cows and with ketoacidosis before and after calving is discussed in the article. Conducted researches showed disturbances in carbonic metabolism in sick cows. In their blood probable decrease of glucose and insulin level was observed, also increasing of cortisol and pyruvic acid levels was revealed.
