Definition of microparticles in liquid nutrient environment using optical methods
I. M. Kushnir
The article highlighted the issue of determining the concentration of micro-particles and their dimensional distribution in pepton water, by method of light scattering, that was subjected to autoclaving, and the influence of incubation on quantitative status of micro-particles in solution. The increase in the number of micro-particles in autoclaved pepton water comparing with non-autoclaved was established. At incubation of nutrient environment for 24-48 hours, the increase of number of micro-particles of non-microbial nature, as well as increasing the number of large micro-particles was marked.
