Effects of selenium-methionine and vitamin E on biochemical profile of cows blood plasma
Y. P. Bilash
The data about influences of cows diet supplementation with different doses of selenium-methionine and vitamin E on oxidative status and some biochemical indices in blood plasma are presented in this article. Addition of the increased quantities of selenium and vitamin E to the diet improved dietary nitrogen utilization. High content of selenium and vitamin E decreased concentration of free cholesterol and increased concentration of etherified cholesterol in the blood plasma. Higher doses of selenium and vitamin E lowered concentration of oxidative products in plasma more effectively.
