Turkey's antioxidant status under different iodine level in ration and its reproductive indices

Data about of lipid hydroperoxides and TBA-reactive substances content, activity of antioxidant enzymes - glutathione peroxidase, catalase and reduced glutathione level in liver and egg yolk of turkey hens under 4-time iodine increase in its ration are presented in article. Increasing iodine content in turkey hen's ration, in comparison with recommended level, did not cause lipid peroxidation processes increase in liver and egg yolk. Incubation results shown, that 4-time-iodine level increase in ration of turkey hens of experimental group caused egg fertility improvement and increased turkey chickens hatching.
