Lipid ñontent of some tissues in honeybees epending upon the age
L. Kovalska, J. Kyryliv, Y. Kovalskyy
The content of general lipids and correlation of lipid classes in some tissues of honeybees at different ages were studied. It was set that after birth in all tested bees there was revealed the smallest content of crude lipids. The largest content of lipids in chest muscles was revealed in 6 days old insects. The most important changes were observed in the tissues of head and belly. Correlation of classes depends on duration of life. The most distinctive feature of the chemical content of tissues in the read is high content of eterifyc cholesterol. At the age of 6 days its content is the highest. During the process of ontogenesis the content of phospholipids becomes higher. This is due to the other binds of work the bees perform.
