L. V. Shah, E. I. Fedorovych
The results of morphologic-biochemical indices researches in bull-calves of Iris 559, Omar 814 and Cascader 530 lines of Polissya meat breed are given in this article. The amount of erythrocytes in animals' blood, hemoglobin content, urine concentration, crude protein concentration, adrenaline-like substances and aminotransferases activity in blood plasma were determined. As a result of comparative estimations in blood of of Iris 559, Omar 814 and Cascader 530 lines of Polissya meat breed it was established that these breeds differed by biochemical blood indices. In animals of Cascader 530 line the metabolism processes were faster than in animals of Omar 814. The bull-calves of Cascader 530 line had the best adaptation characteristics, Iris 559 - had lower adaptation characteristics, and the worst indices were in bull-calves of Omar 814 line.
