Concentration of testosterone in blood plasma and quality of ejaculates of bulls

Correlation between concentration of testosterone in blood plasma and quality of ejaculates of bulls was studied. It was discovered that blood plasma of bulls is characterized by comparatively high concentration of testosterone, and fresh taken ejaculates - physiological indexes. Between concentration of testosterone in blood plasma of bulls and physiological indexes of ejaculates quality correlation exists: volume of ejaculate ( = 0,29) and quantity of diluted sperm ( = 0,64) - straight; concentration of spermatozoa ( = 0,62), their activity ( = 0,53) and activity of SDG ( = 0,22) - curvilinear; activity of CO ( = 0,89) - reverse.
