Fleece microflora and grease of mountain ewes with coloured wool under stall keeping

Data about fleece microflora and grease of different genotypes Mountain ewes with coloured wool are presented in the paper. It was shown that fleece microflora presented by five groups of microorganisms which constitute the greatest number of bacteria and fungi and mould fungi have tendency to increase the number of bacteria. Fleece of coloured wool contains lower content of wax and sweat as a result the correlation of these components is almost the same as in white wool. Lipid composition of black and grey wool wax contains less polar lipids and higher level of nonetherificating cholesterol and squalene resulting in the best protective qualities.
