Oxidative status and sensibility of milk to oxidation after feeding of high productivity cows with rapeseeds

Inclusion ground fullfat rapeseeds with high PUFAs content to high productivity cows rations caused the improvement of their antioxidant system. Feeding rapeseeds increased erythrocyte and plasma glutathione peroxidase activity and decreased plasma MDA and hydroperoxides content. Cows responded to feeding rapeseeds increased mammary secretory activity. Milk given from cows fed rapeseeds had higher resistance to oxidation.
