L. R. Burda, V. V. Havrylyak, N. M. Paranyak, P. V. Stapay

The data about biochemical indices of different genotypes Ukrainian mountain ewes blood under different conditions of their keeping are presented in the article. It was shown that blood of lactic ewes characterized by the lowest content of total protein, cholesterol, calcium, phosphor and the highest level of the total lipids and vitamin A under stall keeping. These functional changes in ewe's organism associates with pregnancy and beginning of lactation. It was established that the content of total protein, calcium, phosphor and tryacylglicerols increases in the ewe's blood under summer keeping on the lowland pasture on the background of decreasing of total lipids and vitamin A. High-mountain pasture of ewes accompanied by the highest content of total protein, phospholipids, cholesterol and takes place tendency to increasing of vitamin E.

Also it was shown that the blood of ewes with coloured wool characterized by lower content of vitamin A, E and higher level of alkaline phosphatase activity that testifies to connection with the milk productivity.
