The activity of aminotransferase in the blood of calves during feeding chelate compound of chromium

Ye. O. Dzen, I. V. Luchka, Y. A. Pasichna, R. M. Dydkevuch

The data concerning aminotransferases and alkaline phosphatase activity, content of inorganic phosphorus in calves' blood at feeding them chromium addition as chromium-methionine in a period of rumen digestion forming. Some weakening of processes of transamination was set, that was expressed in the changes of enzymes aminotransferases activity during all period of adding to the calves ration chromium-methionine. The insignificant increase of alkaline phosphatase activity was set in plasma of calves' blood during the first half of research and the concentration of inorganic phosphorus did not change during all period of research. With age activity of aspartataminotransferase in plasma of calves' blood of both groups decreased, activity of alaninaminotransferase in plasma of calves' blood of control group increased, activity of alkaline phosphatase and inorganic phosphorus did not change substantially.
