Use of egg shell nanocovering for preservation of long term stored egg incubation qualities

M. T. Tagirov

With the aim to reduce the negative effect of long egg storage on their incubation qualities the shell of the incubated eggs was covered by several substances: 0,001 %-silver ion solution, 5 %-solutions of egg white and polyvinyl alcohol and Vaseline oil. Bactericidal effect of silver ions and their beneficial influence on egg incubation qualities are shown. Egg hatchability in the silver group after 21 days of storage was higher by 16 % (Ð>0,999) in comparison with the control. The rest of the substances did not reveale valid positive effect on incubation qualities of eggs.
