Intensification of artificial method for queen rearing by the bee-families

O. Y. Chervinska, V. I. Sheremeta

It was stated that the bee families perceive different concentration of active substance of the feed-stuff "Glutam 2BM". The small concentration of sodium glutamate in syrup was the bees preferred food. The bee-families receiving the feed-stuff "Glutam 2BM" accepted larva and reared the queens apparently for more than 7-22 % and 11-33 %, respectively. The received queens quality was higher as the body mass and its length was higher by 3,2-7,5 % and 13,6-15,6 % that when using the common methods for the queen rearing. At that the control queens' breeding efficiency was higher by 20-30 %. Among the experimental queen rearing bee-families the most efficient was the group receiving "Glutam 2BM" containing the active substance highest concentration. This group of bee queens had the highest conception rate up to 90 %. In the group where the rearing bee-families received the food-stuff with the lowest active substance concentration we received more queens and of the best quality, but they had the equal conception rate with the control group.
