DYNAMICS OF LIPID PEROXIDATION PROCESS AND ANTIOXIDANT ENZYME ACTIVITIES IN NEUTROPHILIC GRANULOCYTES OF RATS UNDER CONDITIONS OF PROLONGED INTRODUCTION OF CADMIUM CHLORIDE
H. L. Antonyak, L. P. Biletska
The results of studies of cadmium chloride effects (under prolonged introduction in a dose of 3 mg/kg weight) on intensity of lipid peroxidation process (LPO), and activities of antioxidant enzymes in neutrophilic granulocytes of white rats are presented in the article. It is established that under the influence of cadmium cations concentration of LPO secondary products in the cells of animals increases, and the activity of antioxidant enzymes varies differently: superoxide dismutase activity increases, catalase and glutathione peroxidase activities - decreases.
