Digestion of nutrients in cows gastrointestinal tract at decreasing of rumen degradable protein in the diet
I. V. Nevostruyeva, I. V. Vudmaska
Results of elevation from 29.7 to 41.2 % rumen undegradable protein in cows diet due to extrusion of rapeseed meal on nutrients digestion are presented in the article.
High level of undegradable protein in the cows diet has not influenced microbial protein synthesis and crude fiber fermentation in rumen. Protein digestibility during all gastrointestinal tract has increased from 65.0 to 70.3 %. Higher total lipids incoming from rumen to duodenum and them digestion in small intestine has been pointed. Decreased nitrogen outflow with feces and urine and increased nitrogen use for milk synthesis has been found.
