The activity of antioxidant system in carp after elevation of iodin level in diet and water

The data about lipid peroxidation products level in blood plasma and activity of antioxidant enzymes in erythrocites of two-year old age carp after 30 days keeping in ponds with high iodine level in water and feeding ration enriched by KI and KIO3 are presented in this article. The reliable decrease of lipid hydroperoxides in blood plasma of carp fed enreached ration and kept in iodine water and also the decrease of MDA in blood plasma raised in water with high level of iodine was established. Under both conditions the activity of superoxidedismutase in carp erythrocytes raised.
